Payments and Reimbursements

You can pay for events and activities that are not covered by pack fund raising using the below methods. 

At Pack 37, we are committed to the values of the Scout Law, including trustworthiness, loyalty, and thrift in all that we do. These principles not only guide our Scouts but also shape how we interact with the businesses and organizations that partner with us, as well as how we manage our pack budget and funds.

In the past, we have encountered instances of no-shows and non-payment, which have negatively impacted the businesses that generously support our pack and resulted in wasted funds—money that we work diligently to save. To ensure that we honor our commitments, maintain strong partnerships, manage our accounts responsibly, and uphold Scouting values, we have implemented the following policy regarding event fees. 

Payment Due at Registration

All event fees must be paid upfront at the time of registration. This will ensure that the businesses we collaborate with receive full payment for the services they provide, even in the event of cancellations.

Reimbursement for Pack Contributions

If the pack is covering part or all of the event cost, reimbursements will be made after the event. Reimbursements will only be provided to individuals who attend the event. Unless there are extenuating circumstances, those who do not show up after registering, paying, and committing to attend will not be reimbursed. 

We believe that by being responsible and loyal to those we work with, we set a strong example for our Scouts. These values are at the heart of everything we do at Pack 37, and by adhering to this policy, we continue to teach our Scouts the importance of honoring their commitments.
